Pianemo
Pianemo is one of the most visited places in Raja Ampat.
This place offers a panoramic view of a part of the archipelago, worthy of a picture postcard landscape.
About an hour and fifteen minutes by boat from Merpati, arriving at Pianémo, a protected reserve, you will have to climb 320 steps to admire a magnificent panoramic view of the bay, one of the most beautiful in Raja Ampat. Then we will go to Bitang, the star, a star-shaped lagoon embedded in ratchets.
The incredible Kalibiru river
To reach the place you will have to use the Waisai boat for about 15 minutes and then walk for 10 minutes.
As the name suggests, the water in this river has clear water, looking like blue crystal. The Kalibiru River is located inside Raja Ampat, precisely in Kampung Warsambin, Teluk Mayalibit District, Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua.
Scientifically, natural phenomena like this are linked to the light waves of the sun through the water of the Kalibiru river. When sunlight hits the river bed, water molecules automatically absorb red in the light spectrum, then yellow, green, and purple. Blue is recently absorbed by water molecules. This is why colors seen with the naked eye appear bluish.
After an hour and fifteen by boat from Merpati, and ten minutes of walking, you will discover this magical place where the water of the river looks like blue crystal.

How much does an excursion cost?
Between IDR 4,400,000 and 5,000,000 in total for 1 to 3 guests, or IDR 1,100,000 to 1,250,000 per person from 4 guests. The Kalibiru River also has an IDR 150,000 entrance fee.
How far is Pianemo from the lodge?
