Frequently asked questions
What wildlife can I see around Tabari?
Under water: manta rays in season, turtles, white-tip reef sharks, a dugong often seen in front of the lodge and hundreds of species of reef fish. On land: exotic birds and the lush flora of Raja Ampat.
Are there activities for non-divers?
Yes — snorkelling on the house reef, bird watching, sea canoe trips, jungle hikes and waterfall discoveries, plus boat excursions to the icons of the archipelago.
Is Tabari suitable for underwater photographers?
Absolutely. The area offers both macro life and pelagics, and we organize specific small groups (1 to 4 divers) for photographers and biologists, guided by divemasters with twenty years of local experience.
