Raja Ampat has the most diverse marine biodiversity in the world with 600 species of corals, including 75 percent of all known coral species in the world, as well as at least 1,074 species of fish and is recognized as one of the most beautiful diving spots in the world, so much so that UNESCO is considering putting the Raja Ampat Islands on its World Heritage list as an area with the richest marine biodiversity on our planet.
You will be amazed both macro and pelagic. You will discover magnificent sites, in addition to the most famous emblematic sites, we will show you several unlisted sites that we have discovered around Merpati.
Depending on the season (December to June) you can dive with the manta rays that have come to be cleaned and many more.
We dive in small groups (1 to 4 divers per guide), departing straight from Merpati. Our regular sites, from nearest to furthest.

Divemasters who have roamed the funds of Raja Ampat for more than twenty years, will make you discover sites around our place, some of which are not yet listed.
The other main sites are close to our center located between 30 to 40 minutes for the most distant.
You can snorkel around the island. we have a magnificent housereef, rich in coral where you can meet turtles, white tip sharks, many species of multicolored fish, as well as a dugong often observed in front of our site. We also organize excursions to the iconic sites of Raja Ampat.
If you come between December and June, you can swim with the manta rays.
- You are divers: 2 to 3 dives per day. It is also possible to do night dives (on request)
- Are you divers, photographers or biologists? We organize specific groups for 1 to 4 divers.
Our diving club is equipped with new equipment and our boat is equipped with oxygen.
We have a speedboat for faster travel.
Each diver must have their level card, a medical certificate for less than one year and a certificate of insurance specific to diving.
Divers usually do 2 to 3 dives per day, with night dives available on request. We dive in small groups of 1 to 4 divers, and specific groups can be arranged for photographers or biologists.
About a dozen regular sites between 5 minutes and 1 hour by boat: Nina Rock and Marco Reef (5 min), Sawandarek and West Mansuar (15 min), Yenbuba Jetty and Ransiwor (20 min), Cap Kri, Chicken Reef and Arborek (30 min), Karang Bata (40 min), Mayhem (45 min) and Melissa's Garden (1 h) — plus several unlisted sites that our divemasters, who have been exploring these waters for over twenty years, have discovered around Merpati.

Your certification card, a medical certificate less than one year old and diving-specific insurance (mandatory). Good to know: the nearest hyperbaric chamber is in Sorong. If you are not certified yet, you can start with a Try Scuba dive or take an SSI course at the lodge.
10 years old, for both introduction dives and courses. Non-diving companions are welcome at the lodge.
A single dive costs IDR 850,000 and packages bring the price down (for example IDR 2,500,000 for 4 dives). Night dives cost IDR 950,000 and full equipment rental IDR 1,000,000 for 6 days. See the Pricing page for the full grid with live currency conversion.
Yes. The dive club uses new equipment, the dive boat carries oxygen, and a speedboat is available for faster transfers.
